What did you do before joining Expro?
By background, I am an Electrical and Electronics Engineer (specialty medical electronics engineering). My early roles included open hole and cased hole logging engineer, cased hole logging analyst and operational reservoir engineer 

Tell us about your Expro career so far?
My Expro journey has been primarily focused around business development in the Middle East and North Africa (MENA) region, with all its related processes and systems as well as digital sales. I was recently appointed to a regional learning and development role. My current role focuses on assessing development and training needs, designing and delivering training programs, and tracking learning effectiveness. 

What's the best piece of advice you would give?
We all enter and exit this world the same way- it's what we do in between that distinguishes us! Be Unique! 

What’s been your biggest career challenge so far?
Breaking the stereotypes and smashing the doubts to dust around my technical expertise and capabilities. The cherry on the top? Forging a path where your job is a catalyst to achieving your family goals, and your family is indispensable to your career success! 

Who or what inspires you?
I would like to think that I am driven by challenges and inspired by resilience and persistence 

What would you say to someone considering a career in engineering?
This is one heck of a ride! It's bumpy, it's challenging, it's overwhelming at times! However, it is a self-fulfilling and enriching path with unlimited possibilities.  

What do you enjoy doing outside of work?
Spending quality and active time with family and friends is always on top of my list! I invest a lot in building everlasting memories with the ones who matter the most to me
