- Expro have a long-standing relationship with Shell and were approached to provide a suite of services to the Corrib Project, offshore North-West Ireland (Atlantic Ocean), to achieve the successful completion of the gas well to allow production to the Irish grid via a new gas facility
- To complete within challenging conditions (particularly weather), in a tight timeframe, whilst in a remote location

- Expro’s ‘first time right’ approach ensured compliance with tight timeframe
- Approximately 737 operational hours with zero Expro NPT
- Subsea, slickline, well test and sampling teams all involved – seamless transition between phases with all product lines working in unison
- Flexible approach by Expro overcame logistical issues caused by the remote location
- Successful cutting trials completed with SSTT on 2” coil tubing and wireline
- 16 wireline runs
- Well test with maximum gas rate of 116 MMscf/day
- On-site fluid sampling

- Expro’s excellent performance allowed Shell to complete the Corrib Project as required by the Irish Government – late completion may have delayed the project significantly
- When operational, the facility contributes up to 60% of Ireland’s gas requirement
