The Octopoda® system enables circulation in the live annulus, significantly minimizing the time and risks linked to traditional high-pressure, multi-cycle “lubricate-and-bleed” methods for addressing SCP or displacing corrosive fluids. Access to the annulus permits fluid treatments to be applied below shallow leak paths and facilitates circulation in annuli with low injectivity. The deployment of resin sealants for downhole leak repairs can be more accurately directed toward the treatment zone, thereby reducing contamination, treatment volume, and the necessity for multiple treatments.
