A 10-year contract in Congo is expected to support the local energy market and help power a low-carbon future
We are proud to have started work on a long-term Production Solutions contract with an international client on a liquified natural gas (LNG) pre-treatment facility in Congo.
The 10-year contract is expected to generate more than $300 million of revenue for Expro.
We have been asked to design, construct, operate, and maintain a fast-track onshore LNG pre-treatment facility to support a development offshore Congo. This will significantly increase LNG from West Africa and gas production for low-carbon electricity generation. It will link to the client’s offshore floating LNG operations, helping both the local energy market and increased global demands for more LNG to support secure energy supplies.
The pre-treatment facility can process about 80 million cubic feet of gas a day.
Enabling our customers to access reserves is one of Expro's core strengths. Our expertise in designing, engineering, delivering, building, operating, and maintaining modular production plants on a fast-track basis is a recognized market differentiator and will further strengthen our presence in the region.
We believe our experience and capabilities in empowering operators to quickly access reserves can play a critical role in supporting Africa’s growing LNG industry and provide opportunities for low carbon power.
We are proud to showcase our successful partnerships, technology developments, and strategic advances that support our clients, help our industry’s drive towards net zero, and contribute to our local communities.
